(1) Unless specifically stated otherwise in a rule document published in the FEDERAL REGISTER amending the Table - (i) Such a change does not apply to the shipment of any package filled prior to the effective date of the amendment; and (ii) Stocks of preprinted shipping papers and package markings may be continued in use, in the manner previously authorized, until depleted or for a one-year period, subsequent to the effective date of the amendment, whichever is less. (2) Except as otherwise provided in this section, any alteration of a shipping description or associated entry which is listed in the Section 172.101 Table must receive prior written approval from the Associate Administrator.
